Presently, She is also the youngest Member of Parliament in India.
Ramya became Member of Parliament from Mandya constituency in Karnataka in bypoll Result over by 47,622 Votes, declared on 24 August 2013 from Congress Party. She is the youngest female MP in the country. Prior to this Ramya joined the Youth Congress in 2011
